WEATHER: 95 degree high. After a pleasant night, I woke up to a warm dawn. I spent 3 hours exploring the sandbar before waking Aaron up for coffee. It was spectacular and wild! We are in love with the Selway river.

Critters were here.
I love our little stove, and tried to find the same one for Lydia and Daniel. Fits in your hand, and they sell the propane tanks everywhere. Makes water for coffee in about a minute.
There were ants everywhere, but for some reason it didn’t really bother us. The heat melts your brain.
I didn’t even have to wake Aaron up, the heat in the tent did.

We spent a lot of time wading in the river. It’s so cool to have shoes to do this, I have never done it before without hurting my feet! The temperature was like a swimming pool.

Too hot to sleep in the tent, napping with bugs crawling all over me hahaha.
But we absolutely loved it :)
It’s the first time we’ve built our own fire ring! Too bad it was too hot to enjoy the fire : /
