Nez Perce Forest

It rained on and off all day, which was delightful. The road we are camped on goes up into the mountains, so we used it as a trail and hiked in the afternoon. Such beauty, what a healthy looking forest. No burn scars, no logging anywhere we went. I just love this entire area, and it spans hundreds of miles in each direction!
Laundry.
The road was largely impassable to cars because of the storm damage. You could see it everywhere for miles! We saw 4 cars in total come in and out of the road we were on. One guy had a car painted in camouflage with antlers on the hood, and 5 minutes later he was driving back out with a HUGE tree branch caught underneath his car and dragging. HAHAHAHA!
It was like stumbling upon the aftermath of a violent, gruesome event.
